I’m always eager to work on films with new and emerging directors and producers. There’s nothing I enjoy more than cutting a charachter led drama, everything from a comedy with fantastical elements to a gritty revenge tale. Finding the story and bringing it to life is something I’m passionate about.
All that glitters
All That Glitters is a heartfelt coming-of-age comedy about Ryan, a teenager struggling to find his place at school and at home with his father, who happens to be his English teacher. When Ryan accidentally conjures the ghost of Shakespeare, he can finally step into the spotlight, win the girl of his dreams, and finally be seen. This playful, fish-out-of- water adventure becomes a story of love, loss, and the desire to belong.
Fidil Ghorm
Fidil Ghorm tells the story of 10-year Molly who believes that if she learns to play the fiddle like her dad, she can wake him up from a coma. When he is moved to a rehab centre, she overhears her mother say that it would probably take a miracle to wake him. Molly becomes curious and asks ‘what is a miracle?’ Her mother tells her that ‘it’s a kind of magic’ and Molly’s world of imagination goes into overdrive. In the rehab home she meets Malachy, a grumpy man, who plays the fiddle beautifully and she is told that he has “magic in his hands”. They eventually make a connection and thus begins her journey to find the magic in the music that she believes may heal her Dad.
All you need is death
All you need is death tells the story of a young couple who are part of a mysterious, secret organization that travels at night with the desire to discover forbidden knowledge. They believe that living, modern alchemy is contained in old, forgotten songs. When they find a mysterious elderly woman who sings songs that have never been heard before, they open the door to ancient evil and madness.
